Konstantin Pape was born and raised in Dresden, Germany.
After four years of fine arts and photography studies he specialized in cinematography and enrolled at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 20216.
As part of a scholarship program he spent a semester in Paris studying at La Fémis film school in 2018.
Since his graduation Konstantin Pape has been working and living between Germany and France shooting mainly fictional and commercial projects.
His work has been screened at various national and international film festivals.
His first feature film What You See Of Me directed by Isabelle Caps-Kuhn premiered at the Raindance Festival and at Hofer Filmtage in 2024.
In My Parents' House directed by Tim Ellrich, his second feature film, premiered at IFF Rotterdam 2025 where it won the Jury Price. The film recently won the Jury Price at the International Critic's Week at IFF Cairo 2026.
It was further selected at IFF Shanghai, IFF Beijing, New Horizons FF, Filmfest Bremen, Achtung Berlin FF and Lichter Filmfest amongst others.
Konstantin Pape is currently based in Dresden and Paris.
